What is the the Topic Store?

The Topic Store is a place for you to enjoy shopping from the comforts of your home, yet still have the option to encounter real life customer support when required. Our physical store is located in the City fringe of Auckland Central.

Why shop at the Topic Store?

We are the new pro camera retailer with a safety net. 

Investing in camera equipment is a long term commitment. We believe that the best way for you choose what you need is by testing, and trying it out for yourself to get a good feel of what it can and can't do.

Even though it is helpful to read reviews, talk to friends and family, and obtain information from sales staff to get an idea of what will suit you, sometimes it can be a bit of a hit and miss when choosing the right gear. Not to mention the risks involved when buying second hand gear.

Our Try Like Buy program is the perfect way for you to test the waters, without getting wet. You can still shop with us just like any other store, but with the added option at the Topic Store.


Where do Topic Store products come from? Are they imported?

We are also NON PARALLEL IMPORTERS! This means that the products you buy from the store are covered under NZ Warranty's and we will do everything should you have any problems, to get you sorted.


What brands does the Topic Store hold? 

We stock a wide range of quality products to cover most photographic and videographic requirements.  
If we don't stock it - you probably don't want it.

How long does it take for my goods to arrive?

Once payment has been approved, we will dispatch your goods the next working day via Courier Post. Depending on your location, this can take between 3-5 working days.

For those who select the Pick up in store option, you are welcome to pick up during store hours listed below (we recommend you contact us before hand to make sure the equipment is ready for collection):

What happens if the equipment is faulty / damaged / not what I expected?

Please contact us as soon as possible so that we may help you resolve the issue.

- If the product is faulty
Depending on your purchase, a warranty card will be included in the box
As a rule of thumb: New, unused products have a one year warranty, and used, second-hand products have a 30 days warranty.

- If you have changed your mind
We advise you to choose carefully before going through this process.

If you have changed your mind for any reason about the purchase after the equipment is dispatched, please contact us as soon as possible to organise the return of the goods. We require the product to be returned in it's original condition (unopened) for your refund to be eligible. The total refund is minus the shipping cost(s).

- If the product is damaged
All second-hand equipment is examined, tested and cleaned before leaving our premises. If you feel that upon receiving the goods the equipment is faulty please get in touch with us as soon as possible to resolve the issue.

We make every effort to describe the condition of the product accurately, pointing out it's imperfections so that you may make good purchasing decisions.

Questions are welcomed regarding the product before making the purchase.
